How clients sign in
One-click links. No passwords to remember, lose, or leak.
Praxnote sends the client a sign-in link by email or text. On our side, the link is stored in a form we can't read back. Only the client's tap on the original email or text opens the portal.
How sign-in works
- Client requests access (or receives an invite from the clinician)
- Praxnote sends a one-click sign-in link by email or text
- Client taps the link, the portal opens, signed in
- Client device can also enable a PIN-locked offline cache for low-connectivity contexts
Why this is safer than passwords
Most password breaches happen because clients reuse passwords across services. One-click sign-in links don't have that failure mode, there's no shared secret to reuse.
For practices that prefer two-factor, we layer a text code or an authenticator-app code on top of the sign-in flow.
Multilingual
English and Spanish out of the box. More languages on request.
Every page of the client portal is translated. English and Spanish ship by default. Practices serving clients in additional languages can add more, and Praxnote remembers each client's preference between visits. Practice and admin screens stay in English by design.
- Each client's language preference is remembered between visits
- Add more languages on request; English is always available as a fallback
- Every portal screen is accessible, with generous touch targets sized for thumbs
- Warm, calm palette tuned to meet accessibility-grade contrast standards
